The following tools will help you generate a list of potential journals to evaluate based on keywords that you enter, or in some cases, the abstract or a portion of the text from your manuscript. Some of these tools are publisher specific while others perform broader searches of indexes such as PubMed.
Identify Journals by Browsing Sources by Subject as shown below. Use the drop-down menu to browse.
Then, filter results on the left if you want to select open access journals or journals by quality ranking.
Another way to identify journals in Scopus is to search for your research topic and then analyze the results to see what sources are publishing on your topic. Search the database as you would for a literature search.
After running the search, click the Analyze Search Results link at the top of the search results.
And finally, click on the Documents per year by source link to view the list of sources.
